WABDL PRESIDENT ANNOUNCEMENT

ATTENTION ALL MEET DIRECTORS AND LIFTERS:

Once a person has signed up for a certain ply, (s)he MAY NOT CHANGE BEFORE OR DURING THE MEET. That is the ply that must be used for the meet. Also, a lifter may not start off with one ply and switch even if lifting in two different divisions.

Starting immediately, in order to lift in the Law-Firemen or Law-Firewomen division, lifters MUST SHOW PHOTO ID to the meet director. Members of the Law-Fire divisions may send by email wabdl@bendbroadband.com or fax (541) 312-3625 or mail 63374 Overtree Road, Bend, OR 97701 a photo copy of their official id and then they will not need to bother with it at individual meets. To qualify for this division a lifter must be an official volunteer, be currently working in the field of law-fire, military personnel performing law-fire duties or retired personnel from law-fire. WITHOUT ID, RECORDS MAY NOT BE SET IN THE LAW-FIRE DIVISION.

Single and double ply records have been separated for world and national records, and Gus is in the processing of separating them for state records. These will be posted as soon as he finishes them. Records are now being kept for double and single ply.
